Interstate transportation means you are picking up passengers or goods from one state and dropping them off in another state. All interstate (ICC/MC - Motor Carrier) transportation for hire services and tour transportation operators are required to obtain proper licenses or permits from the appropriate regulatory authorities before operating their services. Failure to do so makes you a "bandit or illegal" operator and may cause you to lose everything you've worked very hard for: regardless of your good intentions.
